‘Reward Excellence’ allows doctors in training of all subspecialties and levels to recognise each other and be rewarded for their hard work.
On the website, fill in your details and then the details of the person you would like to nominate. To nominate your colleague you must use their NHS work email address, e.g. @nhs.net or trust-specific e.g. @ncic.nhs.uk.
Then simply tell us what this individual did and why you have nominated them. The more detail the better to help us all learn from each other.
The nominee will receive an email with an attached certificate, signed by the Postgraduate Dean of the North East and Yorkshire, Prof. Namita Kumar. This certificate includes the narrative you have written for them and can be uploaded to a trainee’s e-portfolio as evidence of feedback. It would be an important document to show at annual appraisal or ARCP.
