Rotations are matched across the Trust so that, as far as possible, all trainees are covering the same speciality at the same time. In house teaching topics are also timetabled to coincide with clinical rotations to maximise learning.

We support two trainees each year and during their time with us, trainees may work from any of the following locations:
Gateshead provides individualised competency-based learning. We offer daily contact with personal tutors allowing our preregistration pharmacists to grow in knowledge and gain the understanding and skills required of a Registered Pharmacist. Ward teams have individual laptops and Vocera® communication system to enable mobile Pharmaceutical care.
